Our Swimming Pools
Swimming pools at La Grange holidays complex.
INDOOR HEATED POOL
Our 8x4m Heated indoor swimming pool has a depth of 1.5m and is finished in tiles.
There is a tiled patio around 3 sides with table and chairs an outdoor terrace can be reach via the large patio doors, good views of the surrounding country side can be had from this terrace.
The heat cover retains the heat of the pool went not in use.
A lower set of patio doors with a high up catch secure the pool area from small children, this catch must be fastened when the last responsible adult leaves.
OUTDOOR POOL
The 10m x 6m outdoor pool has roman steps,
the depth varies from 2.4m to 0.9m . The finish is fibreglass on a concrete base.
The sun is the only form of heating of the pool and this from May till October is generally adequate.
A large terrace with tables and chairs surrounds the pool and the security fence with self closing gates along with the hedge atop a stone wall makes for a secure environment for our younger visitors.
The sterilization of the pool is by saline electrolysis. To put it simply the pool has salt in it and the electrolysis machine breaks the salt down into its base components, chlorine and sodium. This is exactly how the sea is kept clean, it is very natural and the chlorine that is produced is of a different structure making it almost undetectable to smell and kind on the eyes. There is an additional bonus in that the salt in the pool gives more bouyancy that fresh water and that has allowed many of our younger visitor to learn to swim more quickly.
