Gite.
3 Bedrooms,
Sleeps 6, Changeover Thursdays.
The Frene gite
has a spacious, airy open plan lounge with kitchen/diner and can cater easily
for 6 people.. It has great views over the garden and surrounding french
countryside. The private terrace has BBQ, garden table and chairs and
parasol.
The Kitchen has large fridge/freezer, gas stove with oven, microwave and ample work surfaces and cupboard space.
The dining area has solid pine table and chairs and the lounge area has comfortable arm chairs and sofa.
Bedroom 1 on the split level entrance has double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables.
Bedroom 2 on the first floor has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3 on the first floor has two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
There are two bathrooms, one on the split level opposite bedroom 1 and has large walkin shower, toilet, washbasin and also the washing machine. The second bathroom on the first floor has walkin shower,toilet and wash basin.

The Frene Gite
is one of 5 Gites on the La Grange Gites complex at St.Martin des Fountaines in
the South Vendee.
The two large renovated farmhouses have been converted to provide accommodation ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms. Many of the original features have been maintained including; centuries old Oak beams, stone walls and a bread oven.
Our activities centre is in the very large barn which has been converted to provide; Heated Indoor swimming pool,a games and sports facilities which includes, full size snooker table 2 American pool tables 3 table tennis , full size skittle alley, multi-gym and table football.
In the entertainment lounge you will find satelite TV, dvd, video, Xbox a library and much much more.
Out doors there are 2½ acres of landscaped gardens with shady nooks and quiet corners, the gardens are full of flowers and mature trees, within this part of the gardens is the boules court and garden chess. There is an additional acre plus of gardens where we have a football pitch, Trampoline and swing and sliders.
The large outdoor pool has a large terrace with tables and chairs and is enclosed with a safety fence with self closing gates for the security of our younger visiters.
The village of St Martins des Fountaines has a bar "le Cossoutte" which does pizzas and stakes.
The village of L'Hermenault 2km away has a small supermarket, a bakery , Post office and bank.
The Renaissence town of Fontenay le Comte is just 12km away and is listed as one of the "beau Detours de France".
Our gites make an ideal location for discovering this interesting part of France.
