Spend your days on the many beautiful beaches, then come and relax in our stone farmhouse set on a peaceful lane on the edge of the picturesque and tranquil village of Angle.
After your evening meal take a stroll along the canals and enjoy the wildlife, or perhaps sit and relax in our enclosed garden and enjoy the peace.

La Racaudiere has been renovated with a jaunty beach theme. Comfort is the keyword and in this house you will NOT be disappointed. On arrival please enjoy a welcome pack of Wine cheese and pate for your pleasure.

dishwasher, wood burner.
* Single level accommodation
* Large living area with fire, satellite flatscreenTV with DVD and many DVD's to watch, bose music system, woodburner
* Kitchen/Dining area with ample seating for six
* 2 Large double bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities
* Modern shower room plus further bathroom
* Third bedroom with good sized bunk beds
* Spacious open plan living area with doors to terrace and fully enclosed private garden

Private fully enclosed walled garden, ideal for children and relaxation, complete with tables, chairs and BBQ.
For the beach we have body boards, buckets, spades and kites for your use.

LOCATION
La Racaudiere is positioned just 1 mile from the village of Angle which has bars, restaurants, supermarkets and a daily market in high season. A five minute drive will take you to La Tranche sur mer, one of the loveliest and most unspoilt holiday destinations in France. Tranche is sheltered by Ile De Re which protects it from the Atlantic Ocean you therefore have safe bathing and are able to enjoy water sports of every description.
More shops can be found in Jard sur Mer and Talmont St Hilaire. The long, often empty sandy beaches are close by and easily reached at a number of resorts including Saint Vincent, Jard or La Tranche Sur Mer.

In just over an hour, you can be at the world-renowned Puy du Fou leisure park and amazing son et lumiere or perhaps you may prefer Futuroscope at Poitiers. You may like to visit some of the many rivers and lakes in the area, which boast good fishing, walking, boating and cycling. The Venise Vert, with its miles of interlocking canals and waterways, is a great place to visit for all of these activities and lies within a 30 minute drive.
For those with a love of architecture and good shopping (especially French markets!), the chic city of La Rochelle is less than 1 hour away. Closer to home you have the belle resort of Sables d'Olonne famous for yachting races or a good golf course at Port Bourgenay.
